William Mueller is the General Manager at Point of View, and has been a licensed optician for over 25 years. He works with customers to make sure that their eyewear is fitted expertly, and especially enjoys the challenge of the “hard to fit” or “hard to please” customer. Bill is noted for his patience and good humor. When not working, Bill enjoys reading and playing with his granddaughter.


		Cynthia Elkin has been a licensed optician since 1970. She has worked as a trainer and spokesperson for the Vision Council of America since 1991, and helped to develop a highly successful training program for opticians that uses face shape, skin tones and lifestyle to help customers choose the most flattering eyewear. She has appeared on national and local television demonstrating “eyewear makeovers”. Her specialty is helping you choose the most flattering eyewear you have ever worn. When not at Point of View, Cindy works in her garden and enjoys reading.

Dr. Peter Ellis has been in practice in the Northern Virginia area since 1986. As a therapeutically licensed optometrist, he is well qualified to diagnose and treat conditions such as dry eyes, glaucoma and eye infections, as well as co-manage patients before and after Lasik surgery. Dr. Ellis has vast experience in fitting all types of contact lenses. When not busy with patients, Dr. Ellis coaches basketball and is enjoying his new baby boy.

All of the staff at Point of View Eyewear are licensed and certified, and regularly attend continuing education seminars to keep up with the latest technologies and procedures.
